trip Surinam - French Guyana

He spoke about the kingdom of God

(Acts 1vs3)
Apeldoorn, November 20th 2016
Dear friends,
On Thursday, November 24th, I hope to depart for Suriname and French Guiana.
This time I am accompanied by a brother and friend, John Kampkuiper, for the first ten days. John is a construction entrepreneur and with him I want to visit a few communities that are engaged in the construction of a church building. After a day of acclimatization in Paramaribo (it is dry season and very hot) we depart on Saturday, November 26th for the interior, Maripasoula and Nouveau Wacapou. In both places a church building is under construction.
From the interior, on Monday November 28th we shall head for St.Laurent. Equally, there we will visit, in a radius of about 100km, a few communities that are engaged in new construction or renovation. I am curious how John as an expert experiences this.
December 1th we hope to be in Albina (Suriname) only to travel back to Paramaribo the next day. My traveling companion returns to the Netherlands on December 3th.
For Sunday, December 4th, I was asked to speak in Paramaribo. Afterwards I shall be leaving again for Albina and St.Laurent. I’ll be there for more than two weeks for studies in various congregations and personal visits to support and encourage the believers.
It is my desire, just like the Apostle Paul, (though in other circumstances, but with boldness and without hindrance)

to preach the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ

(Cf. Acts. 28 vs. 31)
Surely there will still be some arrangements regarding the passing away of brother Henk Kreuger. I will certainly miss him.
On Friday, December 23th, I am expected back in the Netherlands to spend Christmas with my family.
I look forward to the first part of the trip with John.
Please pray with us for our Lord’s blessing. Please also intercede for Diny and Cora.
We are again grateful for the opportunity the Lord provides and for the many who are involved with this work and whom, through prayer and gifts, make this ministry possible.
Thank you very much!
